Their programme is comprehensive and versatile ranging from classical music to film scores and jazz and swing classics.
Another Finnish band playing at Mini-Tattoo is the Helsinki Pipes and Drums which started in 1991 as the McGregor Highlanders. When performing, the band is always clad in traditional Scottish costume and observes traditional formalities. The performing composition comprises six Highland bagpipers and three drummers. The band has performed in many festivals, on television and in various events.
The one-hour concert is hosted by Ms. Päivi Storgård, and the greetings of the City of Helsinki are brought by Deputy Mayor Pekka Sauri.
