Seven cruise ships call on Helsinki on the busiest day of the summer season 17.6.2010
Saturday 19 June was a busy day at Helsinki’s cruise ship terminals. No less than seven international cruise ships called on Helsinki, carrying with them around 5000 passengers. Five of the cruise ships tied up at the South Harbour (Eteläsatama) and the two largest ships at Hernesaari. The majority of the passengers represented Germany, Spain and Great Britain.
Helsinki Helpers once again take to the streets to serve visitors 11.6.2010
The Tourist & Convention Bureau’s popular Helsinki Helpers began their summer season on Helsinki Day, 12 June. This summer there are 24 Helsinki Helpers who will serve visitors on the city’s streets from 9am to 6pm.
