Every seventh Finnish company is based in Helsinki. Strong areas of expertise in Helsinki include the information sector, electronics, bioengineering and the shipbuilding industry.
Helsinki City Tourist & Convention Bureau has designed visitor's programmes for professionals and specialists with an interest in learning about the expertise of the different departments of the city. Products include normally a presentation and a tour.
Bookings
Special Interest visits are tailored according to every group's needs. Visits and seminars are mainly organized in the Finnish, Swedish or English language. Arrangements for interpreters, transportation, accomodation, city sightseeing and other guided tours can be made by the supplier.

Visa support
Handling agent The Travel Experience is authorized by VisitHelsinki and can provide visa support for a maximum 3 days per visit. Detailed instructions concerning visa support and all other arrangements related to Special Interest programmes are available from our handling agent.

Transportation, interpretation and accomodation are not included in the price.
For cancellation and changes, the following fees apply:
- when cancelled 6 or more business days prior the planned visit, cancellation fee 150€
- when cancelled 2-5 business days prior the planned visit, cancellation fee 220€
- no show or last minute cancellation full price
- change fee 150€
