The Ateneum Art Museum is the basic part of the Finnish National Gallery. The largest art collections of the country contain Finnish art from the 1750s to the 1960s and Western art from the late 19th century to the 1950s, including many national treasures. Here one will find Finland's golden age and modern masters, from Albert Edelfelt to Akseli Gallen-Kallela and Helene Schjerfbeck. The museum complex includes the Ateneum Hall and hosts a range of events and activities. Ateneum is part of the Finnish National Gallery. NB! During the Picasso exhibition tickets: adults 16/14€, children 7-17years 5€.

2010: Tue & Fri 10-18, Wed-Thu 10-20, Sat-Sun 11-17.

Price:
2010: During special exhibitions 8/6€, at other times 7/5€, children under 18 free admission. Free entrance every first Wednesday of each month at 17-20 (NB! not during special exhibitions)
