Churches

The centre of Helsinki has many fine churches representing different styles. Most churches are Lutheran, but Helsinki also has a Catholic church and the largest orthodox church in Western Europe. Visitors can enter the churches to admire the interiors and enjoy the silence throughout the day. Christmas concerts are especially popular.
