Design attractions in Helsinki

Finnish design has enjoyed an excellent international reputation for decades. Helsinki is an ideal city for purchasing designer goods and discovering fresh designer culture. Helsinki is the world design capital in 2012.

Design Forum Finland in the centre of Helsinki’s Design District promotes the latest trends in Finnish design. The Design Forum Shop sells Finnish designer products, from classic names to new discoveries and unique objects.

The Design Museum (Korkeavuorenkatu 23) presents a permanent exhibition of Finnish design, as well as many touring exhibitions throughout the year.
