Department stores in Helsinki

One of the symbols of Helsinki, Stockmann (Aleksanterinkatu 52) is the Nordic region's largest department store.

Stockmann also includes the Academic bookstore (Pohjoisesplanadi 39, Keskuskatu 1), which interior was designed by Alvar Aalto.

Other major department stores in Helsinki are Sokos (Mannerheimintie 9) and Aleksi 13 (Aleksanterinkatu 13).
