Shopping streets in Helsinki
The main shopping streets in Helsinki are Mannerheimintie, Aleksanterinkatu, both sides of the Esplanade, Korkeavuorenkatu, Fredrikinkatu and Bulevardi.
The biggest department stores and shopping centres, such as Stockmann, Sokos and Forum, can be found along Mannerheimintie.
Many clothing and shoe shops, including both Finnish and international chains, can be found along Aleksanterinkatu, as can a number of high-quality jewellery shops.
Esplanade is home to many famous Finnish design outlets, including Arabia/Iittala, Finlayson, Pentik, Annikki Karvinen, Marimekko and Artek.
Smaller design and interior decorating boutiques can be found especially along Fredrikinkatu and Korkeavuorenkatu.
Some of Helsinki’s best art and antique shops can be found along Bulevardi.
