The Helsinki City Tourist & Convention Bureau’s Tourist Information offers free information about the city and its sights, events and services. Tourist Information provides tips and advice for making the most of your holiday. At the same time you can pick up brochures and maps.

Tourist Information is open:
15.5.-14.9. Mon-Fri 9am-8pm, Sat-Sun 9am-6pm
15.9.-14.5. Mon-Fri 9am-6pm, Sat-Sun 10am-4pm.

Tourist Information at Central Railway Station

The tourist information point at Helsinki Central Railway Station is open accordingly:

1.6.-31.8. Mon-Fri 9-18 and Sat-Sun 9-17.
1.9.-31.5. Mon-Fri 10-16.30 and Sat 10-16.

Tour Shop

The main Tourist Information (Pohjoisesplanadi 19) also houses the Helsinki Expert Sales Point. Helsinki Expert is a travel agency that sells tickets for sightseeing tours and excursions, Helsinki Card, guide booking, ferry tickets and package tours to Tallinn, Stockholm and St. Petersburg. The Tour Shop also handles car rentals and hotel reservations. 

Guide booking

Helsinki Expert also offers guides who are specially trained and specialised in Helsinki and its surroundings. Guides in 24 languages are offered.
