It is now free for those who travel to Helsinki to use a free wireless net connection without having to use any usernames or passwords. The WLAN connection that was opened on Helsinki Day will give people the opportunity to use a safe and secure internet connection from their smart devices.
This connection is a quick help in the electronic search for information, whether looking for attractions, restaurants, hotels or transport connections.
NextMesh Wi-Fi coverage includes the areas popular amongst tourists, from the city centre’s Kamppi to Kauppatori and all the way to the Kaivopuisto beach. In future, the connection will cover even more areas of the city.
